It's an age old question that has spanned the millennia: Where do you hang stockings on a houseboat so Santa will find them?
Well... we checked in with the experts and evaluated these options:
On The Fireplace Mantle:
There is no fireplace on a houseboat. You could, however, bring a fireplace DVD and play the video on the houseboat TV but... (Hanging stockings on that TV just won't do!)
On The Outside Deck Railing:
Good idea, The railing is sturdy enough and there is certainly plenty of room. But that deck location, front or back, is outside! Fish may jump and bite at your stockings, birds may land and peck around, or... a good wind might pop up out of nowhere and blow your stockings into the water. (Not good...)
On The Cabin Doorknobs:
A good idea. Sturdy door knobs will do the trick, but there may not be enough of them and... The noise of filling the stockings up might wake the little ones. Plus... if someone gets up in the middle of the night, they might knock your bright and cheery stockings right off the knobs walking down the hall. (Next!)
On The Kitchen Cabinet Doors:
That's the perfect place. Hang your houseboat stockings on the cabinets in the kitchen, right over the counter and... the cookies.
(Did you look out the kitchen window over the sink?)
