Toys!

Not Just for Kids:

Being a "Kid" shouldn't be relative to "chronological" age. It can, however, be experienced in your ability to have fun on and off the water, especially with toys. On a houseboat vacation, toys can make all the difference too. The ones you bring, AND the ones you rent.

What toys would be a great fit for your crew?

If you're thinking of renting, it's good to get your reservation in early. How about a speed boat or deck cruiser to ply the waters with your "kids" in tow? Kayaking along the shore can be a fun and relaxing way to explore. It can also be a great way to race across the bay with your whole crew cheering from the top deck.

The key with any of the rental "toys" is to make sure the ones that you want to rent are there when you are. So reserve 'em early!
(They tend to sell out in peak season.)

Toys you can rent

Bring 'em on!

Take a simple set of paddles and a rubber ball, for instance. Suddenly the shallow water by your beach turns into a competitive arena with splashing victory. Cheap rafts can suddenly create a very colorful, playful, spirit with your crew! How about a flotilla with beverages at sunset? Bring a kite along for some high flying fun. And if you do bring a remote control PWC, make sure you bring enough batteries. The older kids will use it more than the little ones...

Toys You Should Bring:

Fast or Slow...
Tubes are the way to go!

Sittin' in a tube, hangin' on for dear life, going Mach 10 with your hair on fire. Now that's fun! It's a great way to use a tube on the water, especially one with bright colors and a fast boat at the other end of the line...

Takin' it slow has its merits too. Just floatin' out in the calm water near the shore, gazing up at the sky, listening to your friends and family in the distance, relaxing...

It's all about the fun!

Take a few minutes and imagine about all of the fun you could have... whether you're 9 or 90!

Get a jump on the season!

Reserve your summer fun now while the selection is good, the dates are open, and you're thinkin' about it! Can you believe it's already the end of March?

Did you know?

Lake Mohave Is 100% Full.

In fact it's not that unusual for it to be pretty close to what they call "full pool." It's one of the reasons the water is so clear in this swell lake between two dams.

It's also one of the closest desert lakes to southern California and... it's located right between Laughlin & Las Vegas. Great houseboating!

Small boats & Toys too!

So who's really playing anyway? We kid ourselves if we think it's only the "kids..."   Stay young!
