Cottonwood Cove Resort & Marina
It's A Great Place To Launch Your Fun!

Lake Mohave, Nevada

Cottonwood Cove is like an oasis in the desert with palms swaying in the breeze, sand to dig your toes in, fish galore, crystal clear water to swim in, and a great variety of secluded coves to slip your houseboat into.

Cottonwood is also located on Lake Mohave, one of the only full lakes in the southwest. That fact alone may be one of the best kept secrets in this part of the country!

Sunrise here can be a great reason to get up early in the morning. Grab a cup of coffee, head on up to the top deck, and enjoy the morning light show as the skies light up!

Big horn sheep are also a common sight along the shoreline, in addition to a pretty amazing collection of birds in flight overhead. (Bring binoculars!)

In addition to houseboats, Cottonwood Cove Resort & Marina also sports a nifty Café, large store for supplies, motel rooms right on the beach, a full fleet of boat rentals, and super friendly staff waiting to help you launch your fall fun!

Launch Some Fun...

Small boats, deck Boats, PWCs and of course, houseboats!

Brand new docks with a full rental fleet.

At Cottonwood Cove!

Amazing sunrises and sunsets!

Smile, you never know who's watching!

Take A Closer Look...

Yeppers, that's right, eight houseboats on one huge beach in Navajo Canyon at Lake Powell. This sweet Arizona location is a perfect landing spot for a large group event, like a conference, wedding, or epic reunion.

Need a tent for your meeting or event? How about lighting, a dance floor, special tables, party chairs, or even full on catering?

Your options are endless, and the Forever Resorts events team is ready to help!

You won't need wetsuits yet...

Fall is officially here, but the lakes are still warm enough to swim in, especially at desert locations on the Colorado like Lake Powell, Lake Mead, and Lake Mohave.

These three lakes have more than enough water for great fishing, houseboating, swimming, and a great fall vacation.

The crowds are gone, school is back in session, and there are great seasonal houseboat values available, even at the last minute.

Happy Birthday
& Fee Free Days!

Did you know that the National Park Service recently turned 98!

And... there are over 400 unique National Parks scattered across the nation, so there's bound to be one near you too.

Some are truly "grand" like the Grand Canyon in Arizona, while others are inspiringly personal, like the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial in Evansville Indiana.

There are two upcoming Fee Free Days and... the next one is actually this Saturday!

It's that time of year again!

Now that the nights are cooling off, it's a great time to stoke the beach bonfires and break out the marshmallows.

Wood is available at most marinas but marshmallows often sell out this time of year. So... don't forget to bring enough from home.

Been Rafting Lately?

It's an amazing experience as the van takes you down the curving road toward the river... toward the base of Hoover Dam.

It may even seem as though the dam is getting larger the further down the road you go.

As you step off the van, you realize how tall the 70 story dam really is. Getting on the raft and floating out toward the dam, you also realize how tall the bridge is overhead. (Especially when you realize that your car may have already passed over it!)

This is the starting point for an awesome adventure on the Colorado. It's also where the water comes through the dam and heads down into Lake Mohave.

There are short trips available to take you down to the water for a quick "Post Card" sized voyage on the water (perfect for photos!) and longer voyages that take you down river for a few hours, ending up at Willow Beach Marina. (Lunch included!)

This would be a fun addition to a Lake Mead or Mohave lake trip!

Pick up's can be arranged in Las Vegas or stop near the Hoover Dam to start your adventure.
